Be a Champion for Change

They Cannot Ask for Help.

But You Can Answer Their Cry.

Somewhere in Mahoning County tonight, a dog lies alone, cold and hungry, waiting for footsteps that never come. He doesn't understand why the people he trusted are gone. He only knows he's still waiting.

A frightened cat curls into the smallest corner she can find, trembling at every unfamiliar sound. She has learned to fear the very hands that should have shown her kindness.

And somewhere, an animal who has endured days, perhaps years, of neglect is still holding on—never knowing the comfort of a soft bed, the warmth of a loving home, or the simple joy of feeling safe.

They don't know what tomorrow will bring. They don't know if anyone is coming.

But you can give them a reason to hope.

Your Compassion Can Change Their Story.

At Animal Charity of Ohio, we believe no animal should have to suffer in silence or be forgotten simply because they are frightened, injured, or need extra care.

When you become a Champion for Change, you become a voice for those who cannot speak and a source of hope for animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Your generosity helps us:

• Fight against cruelty and neglect. Support investigations and the pursuit of justice for animals who have suffered, helping hold those responsible accountable.

• Create lifesaving opportunities. Develop innovative programs that protect vulnerable animals and provide the care they desperately need.

• Give second chances. Provide the patience, training, and time that frightened or overlooked animals need to find loving homes.

Because Saving Animals Also Means Helping the People Who Love Them.

Sometimes, a family is struggling to afford veterinary care. A senior is worried about feeding the companion who has been by their side for years. A loving pet owner faces the heartbreaking possibility of surrendering an animal simply because they cannot afford the help they need.

No one should have to choose between caring for their family and caring for a pet they love.

Animal Charity of Ohio is more than a shelter. Through our affordable veterinary clinic, grooming services, pet food pantry, and community education programs, we help keep animals healthy, families together, and beloved pets in their homes.

The Legacy You Leave Could Be the Life You Save.

Imagine a dog who once trembled in fear finally sleeping peacefully beside someone who loves him.

A frightened cat learning to trust a gentle touch.

A family able to keep the companion they thought they would have to surrender.

These are the moments your compassion makes possible.

Every donation, regardless of size, helps us replace suffering with healing and uncertainty with hope.

We cannot erase what these animals have endured.

But together, we can change what happens next.

They Are Waiting. Will You Be Their Hope?

You may never meet the animal whose life you change. You may never see the moment they finally feel safe.

But because of you, that moment can happen.

That's a legacy worth leaving.
