Five and a half years! That's how long Caesar lived with his rescue family at Animal Charity of Ohio before finding his happily-ever-after with his adopter, Barb. Caesar and Barb were destined to find each other and Caesar happily lived out the last of his years at their home together before crossing Rainbow Bridge.
Caesar's mom wanted to do something to honor his memory and raise donations in his name. Every penny helps and goes directly to the care of animals that come from rescues like his.

Always eager, ever- pleaser, that is who he was
From the start he had my heart, and that is how it was
Caesar…fierce and brave, a fitting name. You changed my life, you know.
The cloudy eyes, the patchy skin, the beauty of your soul within
My boy, sweet boy, you left too soon. I wanted you to stay.
But so afraid was I to see you suffer for one day
The sadness was behind you and where it was meant to stay
Your time with me was meant to be a time of love and play
I hope you had enough of both to get you through each day
I would have given so much more if only you could stay.
You filled my life with so much joy, a special boy were you
A soother, healer, thinker too.
What I would give for more time with you.
