Our 2023 Board of Directors
Shelly Marlowe- Board President
My name is Shelly Marlowe. I joined the Board of Directors for Animal Charity of Ohio in 2019. My husband and I have 2 daughters, adopted a sweet pup named Larry whose mom was rescued by Animal Charity's Humane Agent, and another rescue named Savi who is the sweetest boxer and perfect match for Larry! I received my Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Administration from Youngstown State University in 2009 and am Co-President of the nonprofit organization Project MKC. I began volunteering as a dog walker for Animal Charity in the summer of 2018 and quickly fell in love with the work they do- along with the animals, of course. Animals have always been my passion and falling into this industry has been a blessing- we are the voice of the voiceless and are working towards a bigger and better future for Animal Charity.
Kristin Demidovich- Board Vice President
My name is Kristin "Kiki" Demidovich. I joined the Board of Directors for Animal Charity of Ohio in 2021. I moved back to Ohio in 2018 and I started working with my father, who started a medical company in the 90's that focuses on Long Term Care, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living medical care. One of the wishes we continuously heard from our residents was to have visits from a pet or they wish they had a pet in their community. In 2019, we partnered with Animal Charity to start the Senior program - HCP Wishes, where we take senior dogs from Animal Charity to local senior communities. Weekly visits were bright highlights - giving both the residents and rescue pups joy and hope! Through this program we started going weekly to over 10 communities (following health guidelines) and have placed more than 20 dogs into furever families. We even had multiple sweet seniors find their furever homes in local Assisted Living Communities.
Kelli Catullo- Board Secretary
Hi there! My name is Kelli Catullo. I join Animal Charity in 2022 with over ten years of experience in the nonprofit professional world. From hands on help to network development, I believe strongly in giving back and helping those that need it most in our communities. I enjoy teaching my children the same. Mom of three boys, Antonio, Luch and Tank; who just so happens to be a foster failure from Animal Charity himself. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from The University of Mount Union (go Purple Raiders) and am co-owner of The Beauty Boutique Clothing, located here in Boardman. I am honored to join the Animal Charity team to help give voice to the voiceless in our community. I’d love for you to join us in whatever way you can, as well!
