Volunteer
We are always looking for assistance with our fundraising events, animal care, laundry, and other various tasks around the office. Most importantly is helping care for the many animals looking for homes at our facility. The more human contact and exercise they receive, the more adoptable they become, and the more animals we can save!

ACHS Wish List
We use all donated items from our wish list directly towards the care of all animals in our facility. Using donated products allows us to care for more animals. In addition, it allows us to continue to run our quality low-cost veterinary clinic. Thank you for thinking of those who can’t speak for themselves!

Report Abuse
To help us in our battle against animal cruelty, report a possible abuse, neglect, or abandonment case by calling ext 20 or emailing our humane agent directly. Please be sure to have as much information as possible so that our Humane Agent may do a thorough investigation into the matter.

Fostering
If you are not ready to adopt, you may possibly consider fostering one of our dogs or cats. The fostering program opens up space here at Animal Charity for more rescued, abused, neglected, and abandoned animals. The program also helps possible adopters get to know their animals before adopting.

Adopting
Come visit Animal Charity, Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm to view all adoptable dogs and cats. If these hours do not work into your schedule, call us at (330) 788-1064, to schedule a meeting outside of our adoption hours.
If you happen to fall in love with one of our adoptables, you may fill out an adoption questionnaire. These questions help to ensure that it's the best fit between human and animal. All of our adopted animals are spayed and neutered and fully vaccinated before they leave our facility (as long as they are old enough). The adoption price covers spay or neuter, vaccines, and flea and heartworm prevention while they are at Animal Charity.
