Welcome to Animal Charity of Youngstown, OH! We provide wildlife and domestic animal assistance to the Mahoning Valley and greater Youngstown area. Our current services include a full service veterinary clinic, educational programs, pet grooming and training, cruelty investigation, and assistance with wildlife problems.

Dr. Jean Kelty founded Animal Charity in 1962. We have grown tremendously since then into a multi-faceted organization, offering many essential services to the Mahoning Valley. Our humane division offers cruelty investigations and prosecutions. The educational division offers on-site presentations on a wide variety of topics. Our wildlife rehabilitation and release program has become a very important part of our work. We hold both state and federal permits. Our veterinary clinic focuses on spays, neuters and animal wellness (vaccinations and boosters).

Mission

The mission of Animal Charity is to bring about a world, a time and a state of mind where humane societies are no longer necessary - in other words - to put ourselves out of business.
